The study of the heritage of a people, their history, culture and art provide solid footing from which to move forward. It is our aim to encourage and assist scholars and institutions in researching and conserving our nation's cultural artifacts.
The Ortigas Foundation Library is the cornerstone of our ongoing research and conservation program. The Library makes available to scholars its unique collection of historical documents in a quiet setting, conducive to study. Our library staff and special consultants are trained in the proper handling of antique and fragile materials and follow internationally accepted standards of archival conservation. Whenever possible, we are happy to assist researchers with inquiries about our special collections.
The Ortigas Foundation Library will host conferences and offer its meeting rooms for seminars, colloquia, exhibitions and other interdisciplinary events for both the academic and business communities. Our underlying goal will be to promote Philippine studies through imaginative programs in a supportive setting.
Aside from the Library, Ortigas Foundation's future Filipiniana projects include a coffeetable book on Philippine churches built during the Spanish Era, and research, publications, exhibits, lectures and events on Philippine history, culture and art.
