Ortigas Foundation has taken on initiatives aside from its focus areas.

Children’s Rosary Movement

The Foundation has been supporting the annual Children’s Rosary Rally and the monthly Children’s Rosary Pilgrimage to Antipolo. Through these efforts, children are brought closer to Jesus through Mary.

Way of Mary

The Foundation has helped build the twenty prayer monuments depicting the four mysteries of the Holy Rosary along Ortigas Avenue, linking the country’s principal venues of Marian devotion: Our Lady of Peace at EDSA and Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in Antipolo.

Nemi Miranda, an artist of note, was commissioned to do the artwork. The Mysteries were done in bas-relief, on steel and concrete, 4 feet wide by 6 feet high and 6 inches thick. The images are mounted on 6-foot tall granite-clad pedestals designed by Architect Joey Amistoso. Each shrine stands 12 feet tall.

Support for People with Disabilities

Over the years, Ortigas Foundation has been supporting the Philippine Foundation for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled, Inc. in their Mobile SPED Training Program.

Ortigas Foundation also provides livelihood opportunities for people with disabilities through Tiendesitas and Greenhills Shopping Center by providing them space for their massage services.
