Long before the establishment of Ortigas Foundation, the company has already been involved in efforts that benefit Philippine society. Sustainability of resources and the company’s responsibility towards society has been in the forefront of the company’s decisions. It is only fitting that a Foundation that would focus on areas of concern be formed.
Ortigas Foundation, Ortigas and Company’s social responsibility arm, was established in November 1996. The Foundation initially focused on promoting pride in being Filipino by supporting the study of Philippine history, culture and arts. Since then, the Foundation has embraced a host of other projects and programs with a variety of concerns, participating in initiatives where its support is most needed, to help advance a society that is proud of its Filipino culture.
Currently, Ortigas Foundation has focused its efforts to Arts and Culture, Youth and Education and the Environment.
